What is a browser source in OBS?
A browser source lets OBS render any web page as a live overlay. You paste a URL, OBS loads it, and it displays on stream exactly like it looks in a browser — including WITS widgets.
Do WITS widgets update live during a bonus hunt?
Yes. Widgets poll the WITS API every 30 seconds for current hunt state. The display updates automatically — no manual refresh needed.
Can I customize the widget appearance?
Creators can choose from multiple templates, set themes (colors, fonts), and configure which blocks appear. The widget hub is where this happens.
Does it work in other streaming software besides OBS?
Yes — any software that supports browser sources works: OBS, Streamlabs, StreamElements, and XSplit all support URL-based browser overlays.
What happens when no hunt is active?
Widgets have configurable idle states: last hunt summary, countdown to next session, or a custom branded screen. No blank or broken-looking overlay.
Can I run multiple widgets at once?
Yes — many creators run two widgets: a full hunt overlay for bonus hunt sessions and a separate compact stat bar for regular streams.
